Los Angeles Rams vs Arizona Cardinals is probably the most exciting duel of the entire Week 14. The two NFC West rivals meet for the second time in the 2021 season. Their first meeting saw the Cardinals winning 37-20 in Los Angeles.
Their Monday Night Football clash will take place on the Cards’ turf, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, where this team is 0-6 against the Rams in the past six years. This time, however, the Cardinals are seen as the betting favorites.

Tough Times Coming for the Rams?
The Rams are 8-4 on the season, which puts them in the #2 position in the NFC West, just behind the Cardinals, who are 10-2. The LA franchise probably isn’t going to be able to win the division, even if they beat the Cardinals on Sunday.
The reason is that their schedule in the remainder of the regular season looks very ugly. After the game with the Cards, they will have to play another four very difficult games, namely:
- vs Seattle Seahawks (at home)
- vs Minnesota Vikings (on the road)
- vs Baltimore Ravens (on the road)
- vs San Francisco Niners (at home)
The Rams probably have the manpower to win all those games. However, their recent form suggests otherwise. They are 3-1 in the last four weeks, with their only win happening against the Jacksonville Jaguars, who are one of the worst teams in the league.
Morale is High in Arizona’s Locker Room

Obviously, they don’t want to risk anything, which is why they’ll go for a win at State Farm Stadium. They got the motivation to do it, as well as the players who could pull it off. The thing is that after several weeks, all of Arizona’s key men are 100% fit.
Their most important player this season has been their quarterback Kyler Murray. Arizona’s signal-caller has been superb in 2021, but he did have to sit out three games. The good news is that he’s made his comeback last weekend against the Chicago Bears.
Murray was excellent in that game, throwing for two touchdowns and no interceptions. On top of that, he also scored two rushing TDs on his own.
It’s a similar story when it comes to Arizona’s best receiver, DeAndre Hopkins. He too missed three games but returned just in time to play against the Bears. In that game, he scored two touchdowns, one receiving and one rushing TD.
