A Must-Win Game for the Cardinals
Last weekend, the Cardinals finally put an end to their losing streak. After three losses, they finally won a game. The team they defeated was the Dallas Cowboys, the champion of the NFC East. Over in the NFC West, the Cardinals are still in the game for the divisional title. For that to happen, they need to see the rams losing to the San Francisco 49ers.
Of course, that’s not going to mean anything unless the Cardinals win their own game. So, can they beat the Seahawks on Sunday afternoon? Well, they did it once already this season. It happened in November when they won 23-13 in Seattle.
This time, they play on their own turf, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ. That’s where the Cardinals are 3-4 this season, with all of their four losses happening in the previous four home games. Is it time for them to put an end to the horrible streak?
Seahawks Playing for Their Pride
The Seahawks are without a playoff berth only for the second time since Russell Wilson’s been their starting quarterback. Still, this doesn’t mean they’re no longer a fantastic team. The reason why they didn’t do great in 2021 is that Wilson had to sit out a couple of games due to a finger injury.
Even when he returned, the injury prevented him from giving his maximum. He seems to be back at his best, albeit too late for his team to make the playoffs. Nevertheless, Wilson was brilliant last weekend against the Detroit Lions. His team won 51-29, with him making four touchdown passes, covering a total of 236 yards in that game.

The Seahawks players aren’t as bad as their record might suggest. Still, the fact is that the Cardinals are better. Plus, the Cards have the motivation on their side. All this suggests that the hosts should win, but they probably aren’t going to blow out the opponent. Instead, we could see just a field goal deciding the outcome.
